The Collective is led by four legally recognised co-directors who share the responsibilities of providing leadership, advice and information to Collective members, and executing the Collective’s vision and mission. We organise ourselves around an annual general meeting in December of every year, where key strategic and management decisions are made, while more frequent extraordinary meetings are aimed at forwarding and reviewing activities. We inform Collective members at least two weeks in advance of an extraordinary meeting and distribute an agenda one week prior to the meeting.
Self- and collective care is an important part of how we work. We have mentoring of members as needed, bimonthly meetings to discuss ongoing organisational and methodological topics, as well as to check in with each other, and an annual retreat where we discuss current and future initiatives, but more importantly, share stories, cook and eat together, and spend time with each other.
