This pilot project is developing new ways of working with community groups in Reading and Slough – to create community-led research that is relevant and makes a difference to local areas and lives. This project will bring community researchers together with researchers to co-create projects with communities who are new to or traditionally underrepresented in research. Community members and groups will decide on a research focus and define their own research questions.
Working with the CLRP partners, our role is to design an accessible training programme to support partnership working and shared learning between communities (third sector), and researchers (research sector), and to support the community/university researcher teams in their community engagement and research.
The project will run from October 2022 until December 2023.
